Print Version
Do you really need to print the whole document?
If you are not required to undertake the role of Safeguarding Manager then the answer is NO.
Did you know?
If you are required to undertake the role of Safeguarding Manager did you know the Nottinghamshire Multi Agency Policy, Procedure and Guidance has been devised to be used on-line with links throughout the document?
We understand that many people (staff at the Adult Protection Unit included) prefer a printed copy of documents they are working on. That's why at the bottom of each page you will be able to print the page (or save it). This means you can print an individual page when you need it and still be able to use the links to help you navigate around the document, making your role as Safeguarding Manager easier. We're also available at the APU to offer any assistance when you're navigating through the pages
It also means that you know you'll have the most up to date version - if you print the full version it will be YOUR responsibility to keep up to date with any amendments or changes by checking the website regularly anyway so why not save paper, time and money and print the sections that you need, when you need them?
Adult Social Care in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County will be responsible for taking the lead role in Safeguarding Assessments - this means that only they will need to use the FULL document.
A smaller, user friendly PRINTED document HAS been printed and distributed widely. This is aimed at organisations who will act as Alerters and Referrers - if this is you (i.e. you are not from Adult Social Care) then you don't need the whole document anyway.
We hope we've convinced you that you don't need a printed version of the full policy, procedure and guidance!
Printed Version
Of course, some people may need to download and print or save the full version to help access it easier. That's why we've included print versions, in both a Word document and as a PDF. These can be downloaded below but please do only do this is you need to and remember, you'll need to check this website regularly for updates.
