Guidance Ten - Investigations as part of the assessment

There are a number of investigations that may be needed as part of the Safeguarding Assessment.

Different agencies will be responsible for undertaking these investigations and providing feedback to the Safeguarding Manager. Listed below are the various types of investigation that may be required, along with the agency responsible, taken from Safeguarding Adults Good Practice Guidance (ADSS, 2005):
